With FSC (Forest Leadership Council) certification for the chain of custody, Albertini proved again to be in the lead in respecting the environment and the ethic in every single phase of the production cycle.

Milan, 3rd of February 2010 - Albertini S.p.a., leading manufacturer of wood windows, has received from the international society DNV the FSC (Forest Leadership Council) certification for the chain of custody, which attests that wood used for our windows comes from responsibly managed forests following the strictest environmental, social and economical  standards. This result fit in with the philosophy and values that characterized and inspired the Veronese factory, which aim has always been that of combine quality and product reliability with the respect of the environment in every single phase of the production cycle.

 
Albertini’s task for a correct and sustainable environmental activity starts from the raw material, with a selection of wood that guarantees the best aesthetic and functional results and, at the same time, guarantees that the origin is solely from controlled and well-managed forests.

It is in this context, the FSC chain of custody certification ensures reliability and clearness to Albertini’s activity to support  production and, at the same time, to offer its customers the opportunity of choosing something completely reliable, just because of their certification from a different association based on a windows field standard.
 
FSC chain of custody certification (COC) can rebuild the entire story of the product from the place of origin of the wood to the selling outlet, passing through every different phase of transformation and production. Its mark, posted directly on the finished product, guarantees the sustainable activity in the process of wood transformation and a responsibly management of the forest. This system of certification has been developed by Forest  Stewardship Council (FSC), an international non profit ONG funded in 1993 to promote all over the world a responsible management of the forest, which aim is the safeguard of the environment, to take real advantages to the local and community workers and to take care about efficiency by the economical way. FSC put together groups of environmentalist,  socialist,  local community living in the forest, forest owner,  industries that works and sell wood, technical and scientific people.
