PLANTATION TEAK
Wood of exceptional mechanical resistance and very good endurance, even in conditions of extreme humidity and seaside environment. Unique aspect with wavy fibre and marbled surface from yellow to brown with greenish reflections.

The sapwood of trunks freshly cut is yellowish, while the duramen, very different, is dark once freshly cut and then it becomes golden brown or greyish brown with darker veins. |
